It's an all Tempe Weekend! (Damn you Bookwalter)

Tempe Entertainment is having a big ass summer sale. While doing research earlier this week for my interview with Tempe's J.R. Bookwalter, I noticed the sale and started browsing titles. BIG MISTAKE.

Six DVD's arrive in the mail today, just in time for the weekend. Six DVD's...SIX OF THEM! I've got a script to write (it's brilliant of course) and I don't need six horror films calling my name. So being the well-adjusted, responsible human being that I am... I'm naturally going to blame Bookwalter. DAMN YOU BOOKWALTER, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELLLLLLLLL!

I selected four movies and the system offered me two more for $2.99 each. Devious, very devious. The DVD's I purchased are:

Polymorph
Ozone
Bloodletting
Skinned Alive
Bad Movie Police, Case #1: Galaxy of Dinosaurs
Hell Asylum

J.R. didn't pay me, or ask me, to promote his big ass summer sale but I'm doing it anyway. Write to him (jrb@tempevideo.com) and tell him what a swell guy I am. Also, feel free to buy a few DVD's and then damn him to hellllll. You've got to buy DVD's though, or no damning to hell allowed.

Time is limited, so act now.

Looking for Japanese science fiction conventions? ...and I know you are. The Japanese science fiction convention site (strangely enough) is the place to find them. Send pictures if you go to one!

Atten: Actresses and Filmmakers

The film "Something To Scream About" is a must have if you are doing low budget horror films. This serious documentary, directed by Jason Paul Collum, looks at the highs and lows of being a low budget horror actress. I personally own a copy of this film and I'm glad I picked it up.

Hosted by Brinke Stevens

Read my interview with Jason Collum. Jason has held just about every possible position on an independent film crew and shares his experiences and opinions about the industry.
