Wicked Business Premier

The gang over at Xcursionfilms have produced a new feature called WICKED BUSINESS. The drama/dark comedy/horror film recently premiered in Columbus, OH. YES, films are ACTUALLY made in the Midwest. Hard to believe, huh?
Producer/Director Michael Evanichko describes the film as "a cross between THE OFFICE and FINAL DESTINATION." WICKED BUSINESS is a story about employees at a collection agency who die mysteriously one after another. The remaining employees must remove the curse before time runs out.
Roll on over to their web site to check 'em out, or hop to the WICKED BUSINESS myspace page to learn more.

Weird, Wild, and Bizarre DVD's

Asian arthouse, film noir, and nunsploitation...OH MY! You MUST check out the weird, wild, and bizarre collection of DVD's over at Xploited Cinema.
I first encountered Xploited Cinema at a horror convention a couple of years ago and was impressed by their ability to acquire unusual films, both foreign and domestic. Instead of showing WHEN HARRY MET SALLY at your next movie night, get a copy of something like MATANDO CABOS from Xploited Cinema and let the fun begin. Seriously, they are a good crew over at Xploited and will treat you right.
You can catch Xploited at the next Cinema Wasteland show if you're so inclined. Ask them to recommend a title or two of DVD weirdness while you're at it.

Horror Director Wanted
Fearmaker's Studios is looking for a horror director for the upcoming project entitled DISMAL. This is a low budget HD feature with principal shooting scheduled for April-May 2007 in North Carolina. Potential directors should have a passion for horror, visual style, the ability to work within a budget, and examples of their work (online movie clips) to show.
This project is best suited to talented directors with some experience, but who are looking to build their resume with a strong feature. This is not a project for those looking for a big paycheck and cushy shooting schedule. This project will be produced with a tight budget, tight schedule, and an eye towards QUALITY. Experience directing projects with CGI a plus.
HOW TO RESPOND
Please send an email with your contact information, your resume in the text of the email (no attachments please), and a LINK to samples of your work to the following email address for consideration:
